Our Rotary Round 2 debate was against Cannons Creek at UCT on the evening of Monday 02 March.
Our Seniors: (Kristina Semmelink, Aviella-Loren Abrahams and Misbah Toefy) opposed the motion: This House Believes That All University Students Should Complete A Postgraduate Year of Community Service. The Seniors won their second debate. Aviella-Loren Abrahams was the best speaker.
The Juniors: Lucy James, Tia Morrow and Tamsyn Arendse opposed the motion: This House Believes That No School Subjects Should Be Compulsory. Although they lost to Cannon’s Creek, they showed a definite improvement on their first debate.
