From 6-9 August 2022, the RGHS Chamber choir travelled to George to take part in the Cantamus Choir Competition held at the George Civic Centre. The whole weekend was a memorable experience consisting of, apart from the competition, several other activities such as public concerts and some sightseeing.
We were awarded winners of the Girls Equal Voices category, as well as overall winners of the competition, bringing back a big shiny trophy as proof. Thank you to Mr Goosen, Ms Brown and Ms Thorne for leading and accompanying the choir on this trip and to the wonderful choir parents whose support has been overwhelming.
