Nina McDiarmid (Grade 9) took part in the Allan Gray Entrepreneurship Challenge which ran from 1 April to 31 July this year. We are pleased to announce that she placed 5th in South Africa and 1st in the Western Cape! For her efforts, she won a cash prize of R6 000.
According to The Allan Gray Orbis Foundation, “the Entrepreneurship Challenge, offers Grades 8 to 12 students a free, gamified platform to cultivate entrepreneurial skills. Through immersive simulations and enriched content, participants learn to identify opportunities and collaborate effectively. This initiative democratizes access to entrepreneurship education, empowering every South African child to unlock their potential and shape a brighter future.”
We encourage more learners at Rustenburg to take part in the challenge in 2025.
