Dance

Read below about an absolutely incredible experience that 10 of our learners enjoyed during the July holidays:

On 9 July a group of Rustenburg learners from The DANCE CO took part in an international dance competition, the World Dance Movement (WDM). The dancers travelled to Castellana Grotte in Italy to compete. They performed a group dance called “Not My Responsibility” and were placed second in their category. RGHS is very proud of your long hours of practice and such commitment to participating at this level. We congratulate the following dancers on this excellent result.

  • Kayli October (Grade 12)
  • Samantha Martheze (Grade 12)

Golf

Congratulations to Taedi Hansraj (Grade 12) on her selection to the WP Junior Golf Squad.

Taedi competed in the Nomads SA Girls 2022 Championships played from Monday 4 to Wednesday 6 July at Gary Player Country Club, Sun City Course.

Taedi finished seventh of 13 girls in the C Division.  Congratulations on performing so well at this very high level. Rustenburg is very proud of you.
